Flux Terms of Service Flags

Overview

Flux can roadblock users that have not accepted "Social Project Terms" and/or "Community Terms" from accessing Flux or a specific Flux community. This feature is useful if SP or the Community decide to update their legal agreements, or if users are migrated into a community and have not yet accepted terms of service.

TOS Flags

The Flux platform has the ability to set a Flux user's "Social Project Terms" and/or "Community Terms" acceptance status (flag) to false. Requests to set these flags should be submitted via TFS.

Roablocks

Users with either flag set to false will be roadblock to re-accept both sets of terms (via a single, consolidated check box) upon their next visit to a Flux hosted page. Users with the Community Terms flag set to false will only be road blocked within the Community in question.

Non-Flux hosted pages with widgets will not enforce this roadblock.

Roadblock Page Messaging

The roadblock page is: http://community_URL/joininterim.aspx. (Note - you will only be able to view this page if you are Community Admin, or a Flux User that has not yet joined the community or accepted terms.)

The messaging on this page can be customized on a community-by-community basis via the standard Page Builder Tool and Flux Markup Language.

The image below demonstrates the default, generic messaging for road blocked users:

To Use

(Brand) Customize the roadblock page as necessary (Brand / Flux) Run a DB update to set the members of your community's flags to false. Please make this request to Flux.
