Supported Video File Formats

• 3gp
• flv
• mov
• mpeg
• avi
• mp4
• mpg
• wmv
• swf
• f4v

These formats will be encoded into flv during the upload process. If an flv is uploaded it will not be re-encoded, but will still go through the Audible Magic scanning process

Audible Magic

Videos are screened for copyright infringement against the Audible Magic database. Audible Magic provides content protection technology and content information services. Content that is rejected by Audible Magic does not reach the human moderation queue.

Image Thumbnail Scaling

flux has an auto-thumbnail system that creates scaled thumbnails (with or without cropping) at the following dimensions. Note all images are at a ratio of 1:1 or 4:3, with one exception for our new Groups banners (590x100).
